A Naifa

This is another Portuguese group.  The name A Naifa comes from the english word knife, even though the portuguese word for knife is faca. I guess a naifa is more like a butchers knife.  As you can see, the music is very Portuguese because you can see the fado influence.  All of the music I have posted has been very melancholy.  This is pretty typical.  However, this is like fado with a twist because it has a beat as well as the classical fado instruments except made electronic.  Their music is like an updated more pop version of fado.  The lyrics come from classical poetry as well.  This song is called Monotone.
